Butterfly Place & Yankee Candle Village

Portsmouth Naval Shipyard MWR is hosting a trip to the Butterfly Place and Yankee Candle Village on Saturday, May 7. The cost to participate is $25 per person which includes admission to Butterfly Place and transportation. If you choose to meet us their the cost to participate is $10 per person. The Butterfly Place is full of New England butterflies and tropical species from all over the world. Walk along a winding pathway and observe butterflies on flowers and flying in a natural habitat. 

The Yankee Candle Village has more than 200,000 candles so there is plenty to see and do. We will be leaving PNSY at 9 a.m. and our first stop is Butterfly Place in Westford, MA. We will get to the Butterfly Place by 10 a.m. We will be there for one hour then head to Yankee Candle Village in South Deerfield, MA. Once there you will have lunch on your own, make candles, and shop. We will leave at 4 p.m. to head back to PNSY by 6 p.m.
